Fees

Payments are due on the day of consultations or date(s) specified in your service schedule. Payments must be made by EFTPOS or credit card.(Mastercard or Visa only). Please speak with us before your appointment if you have any concerns or questions.

Our fees are revised each year on 1 July.

Note: The Australian Psychological Society’s recommended fee for 40-60min of psychological services is $311 (2024 – 2025 financial year). We charge less than this recommendation to help make our services more accessible.

We offer a range of assessment services to suit different needs.

The overall cost of a psychological assessment = Session fees + Report fee

Fees for Intake sessions, Testing sessions, & Feedback sessions:

  • $280* – Psychologist w/ Endorsement

  • $265* – Psychologist

  • $180* – Provisional Psychologist

*per 50 minute consultation / 1 hour of work

Fees for Reports:

We are dedicated to providing psychological reports that are thorough, insightful, and most importantly, centred around you, the client.

Our reports are crafted to be as unique as you are, ensuring that your personal story and circumstances are at the heart of every assessment. We offer three tiers of reporting services, each designed to meet your specific needs:

>> In-Depth Comprehensive/Diagnostic Assessment – $1,350

This comprehensive service is ideal for multifaceted assessments. It involves multiple tests and provides a detailed analysis of various psychological aspects.

This tier is for those requiring an extensive understanding of their cognitive, emotional, and psychological profile, often used in complex diagnostic processes.

>> Focused Cognitive Evaluation – $1,150

This report is written for situations where a single, focused test is necessary, such only cognitive testing for funding purposes.

This report provides a detailed analysis of the specific area being tested, offering clarity and depth in understanding one particular facet of your psychological makeup.

>> Executive Summary Report – $945

This offers a succinct overview of your assessment results. It’s designed to provide a clear and concise summary, akin to an executive summary, giving you the essential insights without an extensive narrative. This option is ideal for those who need a quick, yet accurate, overview of their psychological assessment.

Each tier of our reporting services reflects our commitment to quality, thoroughness, and client-centered care. The fee for each report not mirrors the time and expertise invested in creating the documents but also covers the material costs associated with the testing and the extensive expertise of our Psychologists in learning assessments.

Counselling consultations are 50 minutes of face-to-face time. Outside of this session, your Psychologist completes tasks that ensure high-quality care, including writing progress notes, planning future sessions, returning calls and emails, reflection and research (e.g., gathering resources for you), and meeting other ethical or legal obligations.

Intake sessions for counselling & intervention services follow the same pricing schedule as those for Assessment sessions.

Subsequent appointments are $30 less than the corresponding intake price.

All appointment fees must be paid in full on the day of service.

If you are eligible for a Medicare rebate, you can receive a portion of the money back from Medicare.

To receive a Medicare rebate on psychological services, you must have an appropriate referral from your GP.

For more information, see our page about Medicare Rebates.

If there is a requirement for one of our psychologists to have an external visit (e.g., a school observation as part of an assessment), an additional Travel fee will apply to cover the costs associated with the time and expenses related to travelling to you and back to our office. Our travel fees are fixed at $105 per 10km (one-way), rounded up to the nearest 10km increment.

For example, if your school is located 6km away from our office, the travel fee will be $105.

If you school is located 12km from our office, the travel fee will be $210.
